did anyone buy a loaded calipar set for the rears? or did everone go to the junk yard? i am curious, because for my nissan, i can do an oem upgrade and if i get a loaded set it comes with everything i need except rotor... brackets and all... i know for the celica well be short the GT brake cables but for about 110 minus the cores ill have a HUGE difference on my nissan...just curious if anyone tried this route...

What do you mean a loaded caliper? I've never heard that before. Do you mean a rebuilt/remanufactured caliper? If so....
Its not a bad idea to go that route but it isn't always necessary. It really depends on what you can find in the junkyard. Sometimes what you find is good, sometimes its not. The piston should slide smoothly and shouldn't have any scratches in it. |
