Anybody got some simplistic, black steering wheel suggestions? Provide pictures/links would be great. Good brands?

If you want to keep the airbag then you might look into a '98-99 steering wheel:
 That or from a 7th gen Celica:  Honestly in my opinion they look really good, you get a nice sporty wheel with good 9&3 as well as 10&2 grips, they're fairly inexpensive, and you keep the safety of having an airbag. So it's really hard to beat, especially if keeping the airbag is of importance.
