Some of you may know some of my celica history already so I try to keep this part short. Bought a 94 celica gt coupe thinking of having a good reliable daily car untill I find something better. After a few days (I mean months) found out it had rod knock so I end up buying a used imported engine with low miles. Also my distributor had failed to so also stalled my time driving her (yes I gave her a girl name for fun) but for the time that had driven her. I had come to enjoy the way she responded to corners.

I've never had a problem with Permatex, but I also always follow instructions to a T and make sure surfaces are clean and level. FWIW many swear Honda Bond craps all over the Toyota FIPG, so your results may vary.
