Alright, you know how when you get a cd player w/o the sub then it doesn't recognize the fact that there's the sub there but when you get a sub you're supposed to program the deck for the sub? I think you do it for most all modern decks. I just installed my sub and it sounds damn good, but I'm not getting enough power to it to realize it's maximum potential and I think it's because I haven't programmed my deck.
-Anyone know if there's a general way to program the deck and get to the "secret" menu that has the sub feature to turn on and off? I'd check my manual for it, but I have misplaced it for the time being. |

yea, what he said. Just hit the menu button till you see subwoofer or something, and then u can turn up the output on that a bit. I wouldnt do too much all at once, try a little bit, play some music, and tinker with it. You'll find you'll like different levels for different music and such. Also, if you cd player doesnt have subwoofer output, then basically u just turn up the gain or whatnot on your amplifier and adjust by turning up the bass and stuff, but cd players like that blow. I cant even think of many that dont have pre amp sub outputs, and all the cd players i have owned have pre amp front, rear, and sub outputs (3 sets). Makes wiring even more fun
