Is it legal to just paint over your turn signals, because my entire car is silver and the amber of the turns just kills the entire look. If the silver paint just covers the lense but you can still see the light when its on is it legal or not?

I think its illegal in maryland , but i smoked my dark black and i have yet to been puled over...i think the pigs are just to lazy about that stuff
