 ugly noises coming from rear, help |

hi there, i have 2 very bad noises coming from the back of my car, it seems like its coming from the wheels. first, when i got about 5-40 mph theres is this knocking/clunking noise. once i go faster or get on the highway it goes away. it doesnt happen all the time, but most of the time. the second noise is a really loud squeeking noise, like metal rubbing together. it happens when i make a hard right turn or turn from reverse. so does anyone know whats wrong? if one of these topics has been discuss before please link me to the thread, thanx

The clip looks like a 4 pronged bracket. It's real hard to explain, but if you're driving and you hear a galloping noise like a horse is right beside you, that's probably the problem. The clip is very inexpensive, but you hav to order it through Toyota. Like I said, it's not a true necessity, but it's annoying when the clip isn't on there. |
