i bought Tein S-tech lowering springs, im now thinking should i change the shocks as well... how do i know if the shocks are bad and need replacement?

Have they been replaced? If not, replace them. If they're not bad now, they'll be bad soon.

When you unscrew the inserts and they bleed all over you, you'll be convinced.
