Well I finally went out and bought myself a new car with the insurance money from my totalled Celica ($5000). After shopping around for a few days I found a really nice '95 del Sol Si with under 90,000 miles that was painted red. I got it for $3500 and now I have $1500 to spend on the car. I'll get some pics up in a few days after I get my camera back from my friend.
Only bad thing is that the car has a giant spoiler on the back but I'll have that off by the time I get the camera back. See you guys, I enjoyed my time here and even though I didn't get another Celica, I still might lurk around here. Oh yes, and I do plan on swapping the del Sol engine to a bigger one so that I can actually get a decently fast car. |

My wannabe Miata? Miata's were ugly back in the day, the newer ones are nice now. Oh and I don't gotta pay extra on my insurance because my car isn't considered drop top, its a hardtop according to them ![]() And the day I see a Tercel outrun my del Sol Si is the day Arnold Swarzenegger is the President of the World ![]() ![]() To the rest of you guys, I do plan on taking some pics so you can see my car and I plan on swapping the engine and getting a buddy club bodykit put on (no spoiler) so that when I get the turbo put in I'll just have a fmic that'll look nice. kuruptedsnake, I think your just jealous ![]() |
