Well I finally went out and bought myself a new car with the insurance money from my totalled Celica ($5000). After shopping around for a few days I found a really nice '95 del Sol Si with under 90,000 miles that was painted red. I got it for $3500 and now I have $1500 to spend on the car. I'll get some pics up in a few days after I get my camera back from my friend.
Only bad thing is that the car has a giant spoiler on the back but I'll have that off by the time I get the camera back. See you guys, I enjoyed my time here and even though I didn't get another Celica, I still might lurk around here. Oh yes, and I do plan on swapping the del Sol engine to a bigger one so that I can actually get a decently fast car. |

yep... guilty although.... for n/a purposes... honda has been able to build great high revving motors & transmissions to gear it correctly..... but come on.... i drove my 4a-fe with a blown head gasket for over 3,000 miles... and at the end it had been about 7,000 miles since an oil change (still wasn't low)..... along with that, my old tranny when i broke it... i was able to drive over 100 miles w/o any first or 2nd gear.... i can't not go toyota after those experiences, lol |
