 valve cover, leaks oil! need info |

my chilton manual sucks.... it only has a description for the 7afe engine.... i need some torque values and such for the 5sfe valve cover
could some one scan me some pics of valve cover removal and installation? also.... it leaks oil around the spark plug chamber.... it looks like there is a seal underneith the nut.... what are those seals called.... i got a valve cover seal but it was only one seal and didnt come with anything else need it ASAP! |

i painted my valve cover (7afe) and replaced the valve cover gasket
then it started leaking oil you need to get the little gaskets that are around the studs (the four nuts that hold the cover on ) they look like washers w/ rubber on them they are like 30 cents a piece from toyota i replaced those w/ new ones and it was still leaking from the valve cover you know the bolt that holds the alternator wire cover i torqued the **** out of that one and now it doesnt leak ... easy fix lol but yeah make sure you get all the gaskets at once
