 Sub quality vs amp vs number |

I was thiking about getting two 12" audibahn subs. If you wanted a very nice soundsystem I assume that two running off a 1100 watt amp which is half the possible rms for these subs is better then one running off the max 1100 watts in cleanliness of the hit correct? Also, I know everyone says a good amp is critcial... so if I wanted 1100 - 2200 rms out of an amp... I assume the legacy amps off ebay are junk, so what type would you all look at for cost vs preformance. I dont NEED To blow the socks off everyone, I just want to have a real clean system, and I kinda want to blow off socks if im in the mood

I would also look at the Audiobahn AW1200Q subs. I know for a fact that they hit very well in a 1.25cubic ft per sub sealed enclosure in the celica Then you can run the A1300HCT to power them or the A12001DT. Sorry I'm only mentioning Audiobahn amps but hey its where I work. I get to test our products in my car all the time. But I have installed other equipent when I was working for a shop be for I came to work for Audiobahn.
