well my check engine light came on so to make a long story short i found out i need an air temp sensor, what happens if i drive around with this broken, any short or long term damage. how much can this cost to get fixed?

I had a friend with a Corolla that had a CAI from EL Prototypes and it didnt have a hole for his air temp sensor....rode around with the sensor just dangling in his engine compartment. He didnt notice any problems, but i would reccomend replacing the sensor and making sure it works just to be nice to your engine. wink.gif
