MY 99 Celica GT vs. 2005 Ford Mustang GT, should i trade in? Options

OK, so i will proubley get shot at for this....but i love the looks and the performance of the new mustangs coming out, i like how they look like the old ones. And frankly i was thinking about tradeing in my celica when they hit the market. But then again i wonder if FORD will live up to its title, " Fix Or Repair Daily " F.O.R.D. ? Anyways what do you guys think, i mean with a price tag of $25,000 for the most souped up version, it does sound tempting!

If you like it why not? It's affordable, fast, and great looking. And honestly, ok maybe there's a teeny bit more chance american cars break down more...but honestly it's the people that drive them and own them which make them break down. Japanese cars can take so much abuse and maknourishment, but as long as you stick to your scheduled maintainances the car should be fine and have just as many problems as any other car. Just take care of it and it won't treat you wrong...


And about the Ford Explorer...no clue if u had the V8...but my parents had a Ford Expedition that went well into 220k withiout a problem besides the air compressor fuse for the rear suspension blew once. Other than that, no problems at all and we sold it for a nice price and I'm sure they are still getting good use out of it. Take car of your ride and it will make sure there's money left in your wallet.
