MY 99 Celica GT vs. 2005 Ford Mustang GT, should i trade in?

Guest_DJMC_Celica_* Guest_DJMC_Celica_* View Member Profile	OK, so i will proubley get shot at for this....but i love the looks and the performance of the new mustangs coming out, i like how they look like the old ones. And frankly i was thinking about tradeing in my celica when they hit the market. But then again i wonder if FORD will live up to its title, " Fix Or Repair Daily " F.O.R.D. ? Anyways what do you guys think, i mean with a price tag of $25,000 for the most souped up version, it does sound tempting! Thanks, DJMC

I got beat by my friend's auto V6 Mustang with my old engine. I don't think a ST would come close to beating a Mustang GT.

If it was a early 90s Stang...those V6s only put out 130 or so.

whats early ones are you talking about, the 6 wasnt stock until 94, with the new body, they were only 4 bangers... and I havnt raced any with my celi, but I spanked a 2003 6 banger manul, with my 525i auto

Yeah, thats what I meant. I know that before that the 4 cylinders only got 110 or so.
