ok, so i remember someone claiming to have done this AWD conversion on his 6th gen. i can't remember who though. it's a great idea, i might attempt it at some point if i just have too much money laying around.
i personally really want to see some pics of this car, the engine bay, interior, under car, etc. if this guy really has done this, i want to see it and be able to tell him how much of the s**t he is for pulling this off. a part list, or detailed description of what was done would also help convince me. i'm just really interested, and i want MORE OF THIS POTENTIALLY AWESOME CELICA! bring on the pics. charlie -------------------- 1994 Lexus ES300

Well, Here are my thoughts. The cars (our USDM and the JDM GT-4) were all made in the same factory. Much like her in Alabama. All the big Mercedes SUV's are made here and send all over the world. Now, they are all made on the same paltform. Some just have different options. We are switching in the 3S as an option. I see no reason not to think that you could do the same to an AWD system. Granted (as Neverstop said) Alignment would be tough, but it's doable.
