hey guys this has been running in my head for a while now.

i have a coupe with a box that holds 2 12's , you can bet i have noooooo space at all.

so i was thinking of buy a really thin piece of ply wood and making a cut out of it using the carpet inside the truck as a guide, then cut out holes for the amp and subs and cover the subs with a gate or plexy glass(havent thought this far yet)
ill be removing the spare tire of course

while this is just an idea you guys tell me what you think

I need the practicality of my trunk. Amps are ok where they are, however, my 2 12" subs are currently in the parcel shelf and frankly the shelf is not up to it. So I'm thinking about making 2 sub boxes to fit at the back left and right hand sides of the trunk. Probably use a combination of plywood and fibreglass.

Good advice Cormudgen - measure several times to be absolutely sure/correct. I would add, over cut the size and trim down afterwards to get a perfect fit.

I did mine like this and it is great but the only difference is that I used all FG. I have a pic on my PROFILE
