the Solo Baric series i heard hits really hard, so i decided to get soem S8L7s
they are dual 4-ohm speakers with 450watts max. im looking to get a profile amp because they have a nice warranty and are good amps from what i hear. basically im curious what kind of power i want to run. there's KenWoods that i would get that put out 150X2 for thesame price as a profile putting 200X2 one profile does 200X2 @4 and 400 or 450X2 @2...i don't plan to blow em, but should i stay away from it for safety? all opinions appreciated. -------------------- ![]() |

Get yourself a quality amp. You don't want to cheap out on the amp, you'll regret it. Look for a kicker, mtx, xtant, phoenix gold, us amps, audiobahn.
I would connect the two coils in parallel for a 2 ohm load. Look for an amp capable of 400 watts rms into 2 ohms. Solobarics don't sound their best untill they get driven hard. |
