 exhaust noises..., at least i think |

i have noticed for a while that my when i am at full trottle that aroudn 3-4 grand i hear a wistleing noise which seams to come from the back of my car. i can hear it better when the back seats are down really well. my dad told me to put a rag over the exhaust and see if it made any funny noises like it had a leak or something but it didn't. so he thinks the only thing it could be is possibly the catalitic converter. i thought i would just see what u guys though. well the cat is not in the back of the car, so i dunno about that guess.
my guess would be a leak as well, it could be on the piping right before it goes over the rear right axle. my guess would be jack up the car and see if it's there...maybe you bottomed out hard or hit something --------------------  |
