the Solo Baric series i heard hits really hard, so i decided to get soem S8L7s
they are dual 4-ohm speakers with 450watts max. im looking to get a profile amp because they have a nice warranty and are good amps from what i hear. basically im curious what kind of power i want to run. there's KenWoods that i would get that put out 150X2 for thesame price as a profile putting 200X2 one profile does 200X2 @4 and 400 or 450X2 @2...i don't plan to blow em, but should i stay away from it for safety? all opinions appreciated. -------------------- ![]() |

okay, i did some more price checking and for a 850+ watt X1 bridge is like $700.
where as a 200X2 at 4ohm and 400X2 @2ohm is between 200-400 i take it bridging is only cheaper with subs that take b/t 100-200 each? Edit: I still need to know why NOT to get Profile amps w/ their 3-yr warranty. they're a good chunk cheaper than other brands This post has been edited by Consynx: Apr 28, 2004 - 3:18 PM -------------------- ![]() |
