i have noticed for a while that my when i am at full trottle that aroudn 3-4 grand i hear a wistleing noise which seams to come from the back of my car. i can hear it better when the back seats are down really well. my dad told me to put a rag over the exhaust and see if it made any funny noises like it had a leak or something but it didn't. so he thinks the only thing it could be is possibly the catalitic converter. i thought i would just see what u guys though. When you say full throttle it leads me to think that there could be a leak in your fuel lines. Just a thought. You dont smell any gas when you exit the car do you? Just check all of the piping, fittings, and lines underneath the car.
