As a ex-celica owner (sold it 3 months ago), I'm still obsesed with it.
I've also heard that the new owner ****ed it up even more!!! I'm sad. ... I've been driving a 98 Mercedes ML320 (SUV) that I bought back in December, but it's not as fun as my old celica. The reason that I bought SUV (besides being 6'7"), is that i've had too many tickets with all the previous cars. I'm not 21 yet (untill July) and I've already ****ed up 3 times. Yes, my license has been suspended three times. Lawyer fees have been up to $5,000 mark (heh, the price of engine swap), and basically if I would have gotten a single ticket, I would have to say bye-bye to my license for a long time. Well that's at least untill you turn 21 (according to Illinois law since they have a lot stricter rules compared to 21 and above). Basically I've been ticket free for over 2 years (heh, I had to), and once I turn 21 one i'm planning to buy a new car. I would still keep the SUV for business purposes, but a new (used) sporty car. All the way uptill now my choice has been a 99-00 Corvette that I can pick up in about $25K price range... THIS IS WHAT CHANGED MY MIND ![]() OH MY GOD SO SEXY (Celi in the new Juiced game) basically this is the same body kit as my old celica!!! so right now I'm debating if I should get a Corvette in July or just pick up a '99 Celica GT (Hatch) and spend the other $10K in go+show mods (3sgte + veilside). |

heheh that's a good one you think it will help with my ENDLESS urgess for all kinds of ****!!! ------------------------------------- more.... of the sexy biatch ![]() ------------------------------------- Corvettes are still one of the "only" American cars that I like. Putting money into Celica is not economical since you never get the amount that you put in (trust me, I've had lots of experience with that). Corvettes hold their value and since it's already freaken fast, I won't need to sink money into it. But, then I might get bored with the Corvette, while Celica will be getting updated/refreshed with new parts, which would mean "getting bored with it" syndrome will not exist for some time... |
