 Amp Power Wire, 8 or 4 gauge? |

Hey guys,
I am going to be putting an amp in my car that is 800W MAX. My current setup will probably be 200x2 (2 OHM ) + 200x1 (4ohm) RMS. What gauge power wire should I use? 4 or 8? and what thickness speaker wire should i use? Thanks guys! |

Recommended Power and Ground Cable Sizes
You may be able to get away with 8ga but if you plan on ever adding another amp run 4 ga. Then you'll be all set for the upgrade. knukonceptz.com I've had good luck with these guys. The wire is top notch at a really fair price. |
