the Solo Baric series i heard hits really hard, so i decided to get soem S8L7s
they are dual 4-ohm speakers with 450watts max. im looking to get a profile amp because they have a nice warranty and are good amps from what i hear. basically im curious what kind of power i want to run. there's KenWoods that i would get that put out 150X2 for thesame price as a profile putting 200X2 one profile does 200X2 @4 and 400 or 450X2 @2...i don't plan to blow em, but should i stay away from it for safety? all opinions appreciated. -------------------- ![]() |

The SL7s are good all-around subs for their money. If you have the right set-up they'll hit clean and crisp.
I have a KX600.1 to each of mine and i've had plenty of compliments on how clean they hit, but that is also w/ the amp turned down and on vocal on my cd player. When their cranked you cant hear anything else other than bass lol. But even turned half way up they have a clean hit. Just make sure you buy some dynamat while your at it. |
