 Amp Power Wire, 8 or 4 gauge? |

Hey guys,
I am going to be putting an amp in my car that is 800W MAX. My current setup will probably be 200x2 (2 OHM ) + 200x1 (4ohm) RMS. What gauge power wire should I use? 4 or 8? and what thickness speaker wire should i use? Thanks guys! |

Thanks for the info guys! Lets assume that I am not going to be adding anymore amps then I should technically be ok with 8G and assuming that I use 8G and its not enough in terms of power handling, what will happen? Blow fuse or "fire" wire
