Haha...is anyone here able to help me with the bumper removal? I removed all the visible bolts that hold it on..but it seems like something is keeping it on in the middle...im to scared to try and take alot of stuff apart to see. So if anyone knows what to do please tell me so I dont f my sh*t up.
By the way..the reason im taking the bumper off is because the dumb ass that i bought the car from put the lisence brackets on the front and made two dents in the plastic (see picture) and i'm gonna try and heat it out so it looks smooth again...is this a stupid/good idea? any suggestions on how to do it without f'ing my sh*t up? haah..thanks for all the help guys. |

lol.. ok buddy, this is what i did when i took mine off...
first of all, u gotta take off the thousands of bolts that attatches the bumper to the mud guards. then of course, the two on the left and right side that u have to go through the wheel well to get to. now pop open ur hood and there are four more where that little cushion thing is. once that is removed, there is one last thing i did... u know the mouth of our cars? well at the very top of the mouth on the underside, theres a piece of long plastic, with 4 different plastic screws without heads that hold it on. what i did, i just yanked the muther out. then, i gave it a little muscle and pulled off my bumper. everything is prolly FUBAR now, but eh, i got it off... -alex hope that helps... |
