I was wondering if anyone else has run into the problem of their fuel door latch and trunk latch not working and what they did to remedy the situation?
The Fuel door still unlocks with the switch, but doesnt pop open. Good thing I have long arms and can manually pop the door while pulling the switch on the floor to unlock it, but it would be nice to know how to fix that. The Trunk floor latch broke off and now the only way to open the trunk is by hand. The 94 coupe is not the most convienant thing to open when you have no real handle to open the trunk with, so fixing the popper would be nice. Maybe I'll put it on a remote. Anyone ever done that, or fixed the original problem before that can give me some advice? Thanks. -------------------- ![]() |

the easyer way would be a remote setup for both, and for the gas cap just put it under the dash. When I picked up my Celica, Neither worked For the trunk, where the cable meets the Key popper in the back, The Key popper stoped it from moving because someone had tried and broke into it. I Zipped tied the whole unit up good with about 10 of them, and to this day It still works so no complainets.
