Alright, I just want to be sure on how to do this before I go and buy the touch up paint from the dealer. I have a lot of knicks on my hood and a few spots on my car that I want to touch up and blend in w/ the rest of the car. My hood is getting freckles. I have a white car, and just wanted to know how to do touch up? Do I have to sand over the spots I want to touch up??? SHould I wax the car first to see how bad the knicks are??? I don't know, gimme some pointers for touch up.

Get all the wax off the part that you want to touch up, primer it and then add the touch up on in thin layers, not one big blob. Don't use the brush that comes with the touch up paint. Its better to use the end of a toothpick.
