What should i use to clean my turbocharger.. Its a little dirty and has oil on it... I would like to clean it up real nice be4 i use it... Does anyone suggest nething???? And is it safe to get it into the shaft??.. Like will i be able to clean the whole turbo or just the housings?? Thanks

I know the auto shop my friend works at uses Simple Green alot...i think it might just be for degreasing of external parts though. I wouldnt run it all inside the turbo or anything, but cleaning the surface with it would be fine. Brake cleaner also does a great job with degreasing anything, so i would opt to use that first. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
