what you guy opion on shaving trunks. im thinking of shaving mine but im not sure. so i need some input

i think i am going to just keep it there but make it look like its on an angle and fill it all in so it looks like it just fits the plate. im not sure, i want the whole thing but im not sure where to put the plate at and i dont want to cut my bumper
