Does a corolla have a 7afe or a series engine? If so it probably will fit. Starts seem to be pretty generic when cars share engines. I bought a start from a 2000 camry for my 91 mr2, the only reason it didnt fit was because it was a newer design and a support bar was in the way, But that shouldnt be a prob for you.
