Well, I've finally got the funds together to afford a decent set of rims, but I'm having a hard time deciding.
I really like the Nakayama Racing Stars, Enkei OR52, and Enkei RS5(a little overplayed, but still look great). I can get all three for around 800-1000 shipped, but just can't decide. I'll be getting Tein springs to go with them, and plan on sticking to 17". Nakayama Racing Star: ![]() Enkei OR52 ![]() Enkei RS5 ![]() I'll probably end up with the Nakayama(it's what's on all my cars in Gran Turismo 3), but thought I'd get some opinions. |

I already know what they look like on a Celica, and it looks way better than any Probe. If you look at my profile, the rims that were on the car when I got it are split 3 spoke, and a friend of mine has the same thing(American Racing AR33) on his Stealth RT(man do I love driving his car). I like the way they look, but want something bigger(not to mention not warped). Also, there is an Advan version of the same rim in Gran Turismo 3, and it looks very nice on the Celica. I think I might end up with the 18x7.5 Nakayama. I was thinking about it today, and decided that since I'm looking forward to a swap(like I'll ever have the cash), I might as well worry about looks more than weight(the 3SGTE should be able to pull 18's without too much trouble). :edit:: Thanks for the comments. If the one place that has the Nakayama doesn't have the right size(5x100 35-45mm offset), I found a set of Buddy Club that I like as well that will be a little more cash, but they're quality rims and still a decent price(877 shipped/insured, then I have to find my own tires and lugs, so about 1600 total after I get springs). Sorry for the long post btw. And for those wondering where I suddenly came up with that much cash, my credit is back on track and I am getting a platinum mastercard that will be used for this one purchase and then chopped into bits(no interest till next year, so I have enough time to get it paid off, and it really is being chopped up as soon as the rims arrive so I won't have a chance to overspend).
