im doing the 3sgte swap and i called to get a tranmission at toyota. i talked to the guy and im getting a gt-s trans, first will this fit? then he said it wont hold up that long and it'll probably blow on me, is this true? and comments>?

No it will not work for starters!
You need to either get a 94-99 GT Transmission or a GT4 Transmission. I think that a MR2 tranny will work also but someone will have to back me on this. The GT-S tranny was not built for a 3s-gte engine nor was it built with a 3s-gte at all. Whatever tranny you get ie. GT or GT4 i'm pretty sure you have to get the axles along with it so you don't run into other problems along the way. |
