 RPM'S automatic vs. manual, request for info |

I used to own a '95 GT automatic and it ran way lower RPM's to get the same speed as my '99 GT Manual. Anybody else at 4000RPM's at 80 miles an hour? Could there be something wrong with my tranny or is it just in the gearing?

its just the normal gearing of the celica.
since the engine is not that powerfull, it is geared higher so that you still have some pull at highway speeds. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
