Well, since the recent increase in gas (YES, AGAIN!)... I decided to do some research on Costco gas, since they are the cheapest in my town. I've read that Costco usually buys from Shell, Mobile, Texaco, etc... depending on who's CHEAPER. I've also read that their gas is guaranteed to by additive free (which isn't necessarily always a good/bad thing).
Has anyone else done any intensive research on this? I know that I would end up paying for this before I did the swap... But $28.00 on gas every week to a week in a half really isn't helping my cause... I'm gonna keep digging to see what I can find. =( This post has been edited by kuya1284: May 13, 2004 - 2:32 AM |

That's about what I got when I first got the car. After adding the exhaust, K&N filter, better wires, and iridium plugs, it jumped to 32-34 for some odd reason. Can't really explain it(better spark causing the computer to add less fuel to the mixture is about all I can come up with), but I'm happy with it. And yours being a 94, I'd replace the fuel filter if you haven't yet. |
