I hear about people on here all the time that lower their cars and think it's not low enough. So, I have started leaning towards GC coil overs or aerospeeds.

The only problem I have with coil overs is that they supposedly make some noise. Do you guys with them have a problem with it? SO, I was thinking.... if I put the sleve on the shock, and welded it to the shock, it would be FIRMLY in place, and then if I were to put on the actual mount that the spring sits on, and place a rubber washer or something on top of it, the spring wouldn't rattle or creak at all.

Awaiting your thoughts...

also, some E-bay coilovers look Ok... maybe...

the ebay coilovers are crap. i've ridden on them. boy it was scarey. I have the GC coilovers, and as far as the noise goes, a little bit of grease on the perch and bearings, and that completely eliminates any noise. that's really about it. other than that, they are great. smile.gif.
