Okay a friend installed this intake a while ago on my car, but I knew he did it wrong so today I was trying to fix it. I have looked everywhere and read the directions and still can't figure this out:
![]() Is that gold valve thing supposed to be open like that? I used to have that black hose on the left connected to it from the valve cover. But the directions say it's supposed to be connected to the intake, not the gold valve. So I fixed that (as shown in the pic) and now I have no idea what is supposed to be there. Should I just put a little breather filter over it or something? But then that shouldn't be the correct way since I would have to buy that separately... |

Do a search on "Injen Intake" in the database. There were plenty of topics discussing this. You're supposed to connect that valve with a hose leading to the intake. Check bojangles_8686's profile or others with injens on their GT's. Their pics in their profiles might help and clear out any confusion.
Hope that helps. |
