 Finding a 3s-gte? |

Hey i recently bought a 95 st hatchback, the 7a-fe engine, and have been doing alot of research. I really want it to to be faster, and i'm looking to do an engine swap, it seems that the 3S-GTE is the best choice. But i've been looking around and can't find it anywhere. i live in the US, NC to be exact. does anyone know any sites or places where i could find and price a 3S-GTE? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thx in advance!
Also do u guys think a swap is the best choice, or should i try to modify the 7a-fe? it seems that it's really a hassle to mod that engine. |

The 3sgte is a performance engine with performance in mind. The 7afe is an economy engine, with economy in mind. Can the 7afe made to be quick, yes. It'll cost you just as much as a swap. You may want to consider an alternative. I dont kno about the 7afe, or the 4agze, but I wonder if there can be a hybrid 7afe bottom end with a 4agze top end featuring the SC. Definately search cuz we cant, and wont mention all the information on this website and others. -------------------- |
