Ok to my understanding i will need a stand alone ecu in order to make a 3rd gen 3sgte pass emissions in the states. Now i dont know exactly what this entails. If someone could explain this to me that would be great. What all goes into a stand alone ecu, how will this effect the engine itself. And are there any other routes that i should consider. Thanks for your time.

ok thanks that clears alot of things up. I have been reading and i am thinking that i should go with the 2nd gen. Scinse your hear and your responding to me would you mind if i asked you some questioned im sure you have answered 30 times before me. I have been searching and its just hard to get the exact answers im looking for when im reading past conversations. And you dont have to answer me just point me in the right directions maybe a link to the forum or something of the like.
