 WTB: GT-4 Hood, anyone selling or info? |

I want to buy a stock GT-4 hood or a good replica that will not give me any problems installing. Does anyone have one for sale or know what is the best way to get a hold of one?

I checked with my local toyota guy and it's $347.00 shipped - more if I wanted "the things to close off the vents". Can anyone help a new guy out and tell me why I would want to close the vents?
Is it just because of wind drag? I wanted to point my intake at the vents until I get the money to do the 3S-GTE swap at which point the hood actually becomes functional correct? Also is this hood going to give me a gap on the front where my stock front does not pick up the extra contours of the GT-4? In the end I was hoping for a swapped engine with functional hood and hopefully a stock looking front with a lip spoiler. I was hoping to avoid that vent the GT-4 has on the front - it's just personal preference but i don't think it looks as good with it. That gap might not look bad though... Any advise is greatly appreciated. -------------------- |
