Now my question is, has anyone tried the install of the subwoofer in the side doors.
If so how does the sound compare to having it in the trunk?

Also if its better on the door (maybe so you dont have big ass woofers in your trunk) How do you setup the system to where your Speakers dont get taking over by the subs...

Since in you put a sub there, It will vibrate your chair alot. Being so close to the seats is why i ask these silly Questions smile.gif

p.s. Yes i was bored when i did this post....

My car came with component speakers and an 8" sub in each door. When I bought my car the subs were really thrashed, so I replaced them with Crunch subs but they were still really weak. Eventually I got a 12" sub along with an amp and it was soooo much better.

The reason a sub in the door isn't as good is because it doesn't really have anything to "push" off of, like one in the trunk would since it's in a box. And if you don't already have the type of door that holds the 3 speakers, it's even more not worth it.
