Why is it everytime I have a problem with my car it can never get fixed the FIRST time I go in? I don't get it. Isn't it there job to figure out what's wrong and how to fix it?

I just came back from a transmission shop because my auto tranny was having problems changing gears. They had told me I just needed a tune-up. I said okay go ahead and do the $230 tune-up.

There is no difference at all. The problem is still there. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live like 40 miles away from the nearest city. I don't think I've ever had a problem fixed the first time I brought it in someplace. The same thing happened when I needed a new bumper, they didn't wire the lights right. And when I got my sound system installed, I had to go back at least 4 times.

I'm just pissed off right now. And in the process I also forgot my gas cap at the gas station, which is 40 miles away.

I would say go back there.. then bitch how it didnt do anything.. an say you want it done.. maybe they'll give you a break on the cost for really fixing.. it might just work out..

Actually that's what I was thinking. Of course I woud call them, since the shop is 40 miles away rolleyes.gif

My 3s-gte swap wont go over 4k RPM's...

That's actually pretty much the same problem I'm having. Hm... maybe it's the same thing. It kinda just goes up to about 4200 rpm's, then stops there, and tries to go back up but stops again at 4200, again and again till I let off the gas, then it changes gears.
