Is it worth the money? And if so, how much would it run for about, doing all the work myself?

Most "A" series engines, like Jabberwock said. Common to our cars, and lots of Corollas built after around 1988, earlier FWD Corollas had C-50 'boxes, which you don't want. The gear ratios will vary some, but that's academic, as salvage yards generally don't know them anyway; only that the transmission will interchange with your Celica. |
