1. is this true that you cant drive ceramic brake pads on winter?
2. my steering wheel starts shaking at high speed..what can it be? |

Probably the reason that people say that you can't drive with ceramic pad on in the winter is that they do heat up once you have been on them good, and that if you drive in the snow/winter weather you have a chance of cracking them if they are really hot and get cooled off really fast by driving it in the snow or what ever and the go from hot to cold really quick. I know that rally cars have had there pads and disks explode when they go through some water and the brakes cool to quickly. As for the second question. It is probably becuase you need an alignment. If it was uneven wear you might be able to hear it at slow speeds. I know that I did when my tires had bad spots on them.
