I purchased TRD springs. The rears went in fine but the spring purch on my front strut is much larger than the spring. In fact, my front springs are conical shape and the TRD's are cylindrical shape. I thought the issue might be because I had OEM struts for the convertible which were not compatible so I ordered new OEM struts for the coupe/hatch and I had the same issue. TRD and Toyota have not been much help.
Here are my questions for those of you that ordered TRD springs: 1. Did you have front fitment issues? 2. Were your front springs conical or cylindrical shape? 3. What front struts are you using? Thanks Jay. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

I dont know Shid. I will update when I figure this out. Until then, convertible owners should be careful about buying lowering springs.
