dont get it twisted its not that simple i just put it in breif, you stuill have to get it threw customs thats the hard part, inpections is the hardest part spcialy if your paper work is not in order. this is a very hard and long process i would say about 5 months it might be street legal if ya lucky.cuz there is a waiting list for inspection , customs people are dixks some times and u got to get the car fixed to d.o.t specs. if your from ny it will be harder(im gussing cali 2) becasue there is a smog test and when u get inspection from the dot they do smog right there so when u fail u just lost x amount of money for the inspection and the time you had to wait for you to get picked. i will say again this not going to be easy. i have a list of cars that can be imported (rhd) to america because the dot has the crash test ratings for these cars
