Is it possible to get around the 200hp mark with a 5S-FE engine? or would it be smarter and cheaper just to go with a 3sgte? Im asking because in wake county, nc where i live, emissions are really strict, and the pass no cars w/ not stock engines. And if i did do a swap, would this engine be fine.

And i know basic about engines, but i've never done a swap, but me and my dad would prolly try it in our garage, and my neighbors a mech. and i could ask him to kind of point us in the right direction. Kwanza; what are your thoughts on the 7AFE? Building it up etc.; obviously it doesn't seem to have much potential, but would I receive noticeable benefits from doing what you listed for the 5sfe to the 7afe. Just trying to see how the 7afe and 5sfe compare when it comes to building them up.
