I've seen the same thing. Usually people put too big of a fuse or no fuse at all. But 20 feet of 4ga can eaisly handle 600watts rms. And for an amp to produce 600 watts of power it needs 96 amps of current. If his 60 amp fuse isn't blowing he has nothing to worry about.
