I want to put an intercooler with c02 spray on my car, to replace my intercooler style intake. is it worth it. would it gain me anything, or lose my anything, i would have custome piping up into the engine compartment with a cone filter, but soon to be a hood scoop. I ame going to turbo it right away when i turn 21 (insurance says i cant have a turbo till then withough getting jacked with dues) so i will end up with this setup anyway. what do you guys think.

an intercooler will do nothing for you, let alone one with a CO2 spray if you dont have a turbo, In fact i am thinking that it will do more harm than an good since the intercooler and piping length are ok if you are running pressurized air, but without that pressure pushing it through, your engine will be starving for air if it has to go through such great lengths to get to the intake manifold. It will lay stagnant at many points in the piping since the bends introduce lots of 2-d flow dynamics, and i think the air will just get lost and trapped in the intercooler core itself. Yeah, it willprobably do more harm than good. Wait until you turbo.
