I've seen on another site this guy took i guess a like aftermarket intake, and made the pipe longer so the filter just sat there poking out of a hole in his grill (it was an old beater), i was wondering if this would work. It'd look very akward, but would it work well? and would it be like a forced induction when you start hitting higher speeds?

ok i did this..except better and smarter.......i have an invader kit so i ran my air filter right behind the driver side small opening...this is inside the fender/wheel well so all the air that goes into that opening goes into the engine...inside = protect from rain...but yet massive cold air
