ok while ive had my golf clubs out of the car everynow and then. that damn sub box which was nicely built (not by me) keeps sliding to the back and making me pissed about so i have decided to buy some brackets and drill them into the cardboard that holds the spare down. I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of brackets to use , best to use for holding 2 12" in a box against the back seats, other possible solutions. this is getting annoying and i want to get on this project asap. Also do anyone know if the back of their back seats are also made out of hard cardboard and kinda just hanging off like mine are

I think I have posted this already some where but ooohhh well! I hadnt heard of 6gc.net when I first got my subs...so I had to kind of invent my own way to keep them down cause I didnt know about the bracket method. I used about 6 pieces (3" x 2") of velcro on the bottom of the box....& positioned it where I wanted it on the carpet. The sticky sides of the velcro didnt stick very well sooo I sprayed them w/ 3M adhesive spray....which worked GREAT. There was one more thing I had to fix though.....The sub enclosure stuck so well that it started to slide around WITH the carpet attached to it haha. NO WORRIES though that only took 2 seconds to fix! All I had to do to keep the carpet in place was slap a couple of those BIG safety pins in the upper left & right corners of the carpet (right in crack where the back of the seats & floor meet up) You cant see them & they hold the carpet in place beautifully. ANYWAY I like to take my corners sharp when I drive & I have coilovers (which you know makes the ride very bumpy)......& my subs wont move no matter what I do now. SO make fun of it if you want but I stand by my cheap white trash method Lol.....
